girls day out

Kinley and I had a 'girls day out' while Austin was at school. I really look forward to my Tuesdays and Thursdays alone with Kinley. Austin and I had 2 years and 9 months alone together, I feel like these are days that I get to spend with just my girl. And I love it!!
Blueberry waffles for breakfast!

Good morning!! We were ready to spend our day together.

Usually, Austin wants nothing to do with having his picture taken. That is why there are always so many of Kinley. This morning he said, "I want to be in the picture too!"

My two little sweeties early this morning before we were rushing out the door to school.

After making a Target run we came home and unloaded and had a 'tea party'. Kinley received this coffee maker and an awesome tea pot for Christmas and she is so into pouring coffee/tea now. It is so much fun having a girl. And boy is she a girly girl!

We put our sunglasses on and headed out for a day of shopping and lunch together! It was absolutely gorgeous outside today! 68* and I am loving it. Talk about putting me in a good mood! Who isn't happy with some sunshine?!

After some Hobby Lobby shopping for Valentine's we made a stop for lunch. She's so darn good! I am just blown away at how she will sit and I can finish a whole meal! Are all kids like this? Or was Austin just exceptionally bad?! I was NEVER able to take him to lunch and he would sit. Nor could I shop like I can with her. Either she's really good or Austin was just my spoiled little first born! ;-)

We had a couple hours left and it was way too nice to just go home and sit. So, we went to the outlet mall. I had to stop in Bath & Body Works again... I wanted to pick up Austin's teacher a little gift set for Valentine's Day. OK... I also bought some more bulbs, they were only $1.62 now!!!!! Yes, my husband may file for divorce if I spend anymore money in that store! I think I just need a part-time job there. ;-)

We had to go pick up Austin from school and my sweet girl was so tired! She never fussed or cried once, and I know she was so tired. As soon as I buckled her up and she was all snug in her seat in the nice warm car she fell right to sleep. I'm lucky I have such a great little shopping buddy!
