We started our day off right with going to church. Since this past summer we have really slacked on attending. It was totally my fault because I wasn't ready to leave my 'baby' in the nursery class. She's *almost* 1 1/2 and I am finally ready to leave her in the 1 year old class and be able to grow in my faith and hear the gospel each Sunday with my husband. I love going to church, I love the feeling that it gives me, after all we are on this earth for one reason.
Kinley did awesome! She loved playing, she even colored her first picture for me! She did wonderful. It is great for the kids to have an hour of social time and to learn about Jesus too.
Austin loves going to his Sunday school class and playing with the other kids. They read a bible story, do a craft, have snack, and even play outside. I feel that the best thing I can do for my children is to teach them who Jesus is.
We spent the afternoon at home. I was lucky and got to sneak in an afternoon nap! Our good friends Robert and Lisa and their three little ones stopped by this afternoon. Alexis and Kinley had fun playing with all of the dominoes!
Austin was beyond thrilled when we told him that Ava and Drew were coming over. The other day he told me, "I want a brother, like Drew!" He looks up to him, because Drew is 6. ;-)
Doc and his girl. She's been a handful lately! She wants to be held constantly. And she cries over everything. Is this just a girl thing?! Ugh! Girls are tough. I told Doc, "she's lucky she's so darn cute!" HA!!
Doc grilled some steaks and potatoes and I put together a salad and steamed some broccoli. It was delicious. I love a good steak dinner.
Well, tomorrow is already the start of the work week. I actually love Monday's. That is probably one of my favorite days of the week now. That is the one day of the week we do nothing and stay inside.
Check tomorrow for my 'Meal Planning Monday'. It should be up mid morning!! :-) Enjoy your week!! OH... and tomorrow is The Bachelor!!! wooohoooo!! I didn't get to watch it last week. I'm so excited you guys. :-)
I wanted to share with you, my little sisters cute little baby bump at 19 weeks! Isn't she just the cutest?! I'm so excited to see what she is having... she's beingboring patient and waiting until the baby is born to find out the sex. She's due June 2nd!
