pajama day and crockpot ravioli

Today was pajama day at preschool. Austin was excited to wear his pajamas and slippers to school. I didn't even have to pack his lunch because they served pancakes and bacon for lunch!

It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL today! A warm, sunny, 78* Gosh, I love Texas! ;-) It was so nice that I put on my running shoes and took the kids in the double jogger for a walk. I need to exercise in the worst way. It's hard with two little ones. One is either not happy in the jogger, or one wants to ride his own bike... ugh!

While I was cooking dinner, the kids played out on the back patio blowing bubbles, chalk, running around the back yard, and getting into stuff they shouldn't! ;-)

It was so nice to leave the kitchen door open while I was inside finishing up dinner. They love being outside. What kid doesn't?! I hope that I wore them out today. Austin didn't nap and Kinley I had to wake up to go pick up Austin from school. I'm ready for early bedtimes tonight!!

THIS is why I like to play outside! Then, my house is not showered with toys. Just keeping it real... our real mess! :-)

I made the crockpot ravioli casserole for dinner tonight and it was DELICIOUS! Everyone loved it. The sauce slow cooked all day. Then, you boil your bowtie pasta, add the fresh spinach, cheeses, and let it all simmer. So good and healthy too.

Can you believe that tomorrow is Friday?! Already?? Geez. This week has really gone super fast for me. I'm ready for the weekend. :-)
