V-day craft and a hello to Nana

As we were having dinner last night we were talking about Nana. She's going to be here in just 2 weeks!! We're so excited. It is always fun having company come visit, especially when it is their wonderful Nana! I'm excited too, we have to make a trip to San Marcos!! ;-)





















I took this at 2:30AM! I woke up because the TV was still on, the lamps... yes, these two can't ever find their beds! I am always complaining about how Austin is a terrible sleeper and stays up WAY too late, won't ever sleep in his own bed, well... now you see where he gets it from! :-) I didn't mind one bit, I had the big bed all to myself! ;-)

These are just a couple of cute pictures I took yesterday while we were outside playing before dinner.

They love drawing with chalk on the driveway.

Remember I told you that I went to Hobby Lobby for Valentine's? Well, I decided it was time to put a few Valentine's Day decorations up. The problem is, I don't have any. I have never had V-Day decor. I love Valentine's Day and yes, we most certainly celebrate it! What girl doesn't like flowers and chocolates and something James Avery?! I always get the kids little V-Day gifts too. It's a fun day to celebrate how much we love each other.

I hung our red and white garland on the mantle. (Mom, remember I bought this while in ATL?!)

I bought some stuff to make these cute little door hangers on the kids bedroom doors.

I'm pretty sure that they love them! Kinley keeps pointing to hers and says, WOW! They are big foam hearts, foam glitter letters, wooden glitter sayings and I bought a bunch of ribbons. How cute is this Minny Mouse ribbon?!

Our guest room up front is now the 'train room'. Austin received a Cars Geo Trax train set to go with his other Geo Trax set. He loves it. Kinley loves it!

I guess we'll be moving it in 2 weeks for Nana! ;-)
