girls day out with deals!

We are still missing our Nana!!

Kinley and I dropped off Austin this morning and went to Sprout's for some produce and yogurt. She was so good and sat in the shopping cart the whole time!! Probably because she had her snacks and water bottle with her. ;-)

Look what we found in the orange juice section!! We have an Uncle Matt! :-) This orange juice is EXPENSIVE... $6.49!!!! Wowa. Glad we don't do organic, we'd be broke! ;-)
We stocked up on a lot of veggies, fruit, and some snack stuff. I love their bins of mixed nuts, dried fruits, they even have gummy bears! My kids love them. I bought a couple big bunches of asparagus. I can't wait to eat it. I always end up spending right around $20. I feel like I get so much! I love Sprout's.
I only had two places to go today, Sprout's and the mall. I bought Kinley her first purse last weekend while shopping at the outlets in San Marcos. Of course it's a Vera Bradley! :-) I wanted to go get it embroidered. Lakeline mall has a great embroidery shop that does it all. I had them put a 'K' on it. I'm not very happy with it though. I wish now I would have done the 3 initials monogram and bigger AND not in white stitching. You can't see it very well. Oh, well. I will know for next time.
She was so good today while shopping. I ended up getting my Valentine's cards, a birthday card, and doing a little clearance clothes shopping since she was snoozing away. Oh, don't I just love it when this happens!!

She woke up and it was lunch time. We grabbed some Chick Fil A nuggets and a fruit cup.
I of course had some sushi. What is my deal?? I just can't get enough of it. Simon's sushi in the mall is delicious. Super inexpensive too.

I had such a wonderful time with my little gal. It's so much fun to be able to spend Tuesdays and Thursday alone while Austin is in school. I feel like I have that one on one time with her that I had with him. It's nice!

I found so many awesome deals at Dillard's. You wouldn't believe what I paid for these dresses and outfits today! I bought her 6 outfits and dresses, and a winter coat for next year. She's set now for next Fall/Winter.

Look at this darling Christmas time dress for next winter! $7. I can't pass up deals like that!

I LOVE this smocked dress. I have seen it every time I go in Dillard's. I just can't spend $40 on a dress!!! I paid $14

Look you guys!!! They have every kind of coat from casual to dressy for CHEAP. I bought this coat for $7. It came with hat and mittens.

I don't pay full price for any of my kids clothes. I always shop the clearance racks and I ALWAYS purchase my kids clothes a year ahead. It has always worked for me. Dillard's is the place to shop for darling little girls ruffley, boutique style clothing.
Austin was so excited when we picked him this afternoon. He said, "Mom, you're home!" HA!! He had a great day. I had to have a little talk with him after Tuesday. On Tuesday, he was sent to the office during nap time. He apparently told Ms. Michele, 'you go to jail, I'm going to spank your butt!" Yikes! Well, he had a very good day today. So, I brought him some gummy bears! ;-)

Off to get some dinner started and spend some time playing with my little people before they tear the house apart! Tomorrow is already Friday!!! Woohoo for the weekend.

SLEEP UPDATE:
Austin went to bed last night right at 8:30 and never left his bedroom. He fell right to sleep and only woke up once at 1:30am because he couldn't find his blanket. I took him right back to bed and he slept until 7:00am this morning. No TV when I put him back in bed. WE ARE ON A ROLL!!! Yippeee for sleeping in his own bed every night. It's wonderful having the evenings to ourselves. :-)
