my little Valentine's

It has been a pajama morning! I just got out of my pajamas at 2:00, only because the delivery driver called me to let me know he would be here in 10 minutes! I'm still only in some leggings and t-shirt! We had no plans today, so I enjoyed playing with the kids all morning and doing some laundry and cleaning up around here. It's so nice to have a day like today every once in a while.

I fixed lunch early because the kids were both asking for snacks! I made some grilled cheese with avocado! If you have never had this, go fix some!! Oh my gosh was it good. They gobbled them up. I also made some Lipton noodle soup with carrots and broccoli. We all love that Lipton noodle soup.

I sliced the avocado thin and placed it in between the cheese. mmmm... it was so good you guys!! Austin said, "is there guacamole in here?" HA! He replied, "it's delicious!"

After playing all morning and having a little Valentine's day photo shoot, both kids went right to sleep. I am trying not to let Austin take naps, but he fell right to sleep on the couch. I will wake him up soon. He didn't nap yesterday, so it made bed time a breeze. He went right to sleep.

These were a few of the pictures I took - the best one is the one at the top of the blog! It's hard trying to get a good picture of two little kids!! They did pretty good, after about 3 minutes they were done! Kinley was tired and ready for a nap.

Austin's shirt was ordered from Lions and Lily Pads. - BEST quality of shirts! I've always been so pleased with all of the shirts I have ordered from them. FAST shipping!!

Kinley's shirt was ordered from Polka Dot Closet. - Her stuff is darling. Always has ribbons and bows on the shirts. Wait time is a little long, but worth it.

I just love these two! They love each other so much. Yes, the fight and are not always pleasant around each other, but they love each other. This morning, I walked in Kinley's room and Austin was reading Brown Bear, Brown Bear to Kinley. They make me so happy! I pray that they grow up to be the best of friends and are always very close. 

Kinley is always watching Austin and looks up to him so much!  

I'm so proud of Austin, he has been sleeping so well in his own bed! Why didn't I start this earlier??!! Today while I was in the play room with Kinley and Austin was in the family room playing I heard him singing. He was singing, "Praise Him, Praise Him" I guess he really does pay attention during chapel at school. I was so proud. He really is such a sweet boy, when he wants to be! ;-) It's hard at 4. Especially when you have a younger, adorable baby sister who is always getting all of the attention.
