Today was the perfect Saturday. Well, the weather could have been warmer but, if that is all I could complain about then life is grand! We all woke up early and got ready to go for a grocery shopping trip to Super Target. Usually I just go by myself, but I enjoy it when we all go. It was fun!! We spent the majority of our time in the toy department. It's just fun looking. I also had to find a gift for a birthday party that Austin and I are going to in the morning for a girl in his preschool class.
Austin and I love going to the movie theater. As soon as we got home from Target we left to go see The Muppet's. It was so cute! Austin and I both loved it. I probably enjoyed it more because it brought me back to my childhood.

We decided to have our Valentine's Day dinner tonight instead of Tuesday night. It will just work out better since I have girls bible study that night. I set the table all pretty with candles and gave everyone 'real' glasses and even used Valentine's napkins.

Doc and I both wanted to have sushi for Valentine's dinner and he requested a steak. So, I picked up some sushi and steaks to grill.

The kids enjoyed their mac and cheese, guacamole, and strawberries.

I even picked us up a red velvet cake with cream cheese icing. It was delicious. It was the perfect dessert that we all enjoyed.

It was so fun staying home and enjoying a romantic dinner just the four of us. So much more relaxing than trying to go out to eat.

Kinley loved her red velvet!

Austin loved his mac and cheese and had a couple of bites of cake. He's not my sweet eater at all.

This is the 9th Valentine's Day we have spent together. I hope that we are blessed with many more together.

After dinner and a bath we gave the kids their Valentine's gifts.

I always love to give them something small. It's a special holiday that we celebrate and let each other know how much we love each other.

Austin was so thrilled with his gumballs and his blue doggy. He has been carrying around his sisters 'pink' one. He was so excited when he pulled the blue one out of the bag!

Our two little love bugs. I feel so incredibly blessed. 9 years ago we always dreamt about our 'one day' children and now we have two of the healthiest, happiest, sweetest little kids.
Happy Valentine's Day !!
